Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that the US is seeking to harm Pakistan‘s Nuclear Facilities. He reiterated that Washington is seeking to sabotage and damage Pakistan’s nuclear facilities in a bid to undermine the country’s security and sovereignty. He said that America wants to prolong its military presence in the region. Pakistani officials are wary about the US plans. This was brought up during the last meeting with Senator John Kerry. Kery reportedly said that he can sign in blood that the US has no such intentions. However the US media constantly mentions the fact that JSOC commandos have been readied to grab Pakistani nukes. Sam Hersch who writes for the New Yorker has repeatedly reported on the existence of plans to grab Pakistani nuclear materials. Pakistani endeavors to miniaturize the bombs and create more of them stems from the media reports which talk about US plans to take away Pakistan’s nuclear bombs and keep it naked in front of Bharati agression.

“We have precise information that the US is seeking to sabotage Pakistan’s nuclear facilities in a move to weaken the Pakistani nation and government to dominate that country,” President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a press conference here in Tehran on Tuesday.

Ahmadinejad also explained that the Americans also want to use the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and other international bodies and organizations to grab Pakistani nukes. The case would be made that Pakistani nukes are not safe, or terrorists are about ready to get hold them and then ask the world to take possession of the nukes. Ahmadinejad said the US would leverage the UN to pave the way for their extended military deployment in the region and also to weaken Pakistan’s national sovereignty.

Ahmadinejad’s remarks came as a flurry of US media reprots which cast doubt on the safety of Pakistani nuclear materials. The Ahmadinejad ervelations come nearly two weeks after NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that Pakistani nukes are safe. However when he was pressed he did admit that the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons is a matter of concern.

“I feel confident that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is safe and well protected,” “But of course it is a matter of concern and we follow the situation closely.” Rasmussen

Pakistan officials have repeatedly dismissed such concerns, clearly defining that the Pakistani nukes are in safe hands. Analysts like Hersch say the US and its Western allies are preparing the grounds for widespread military presence in Pakistan. It is an open secret that the US is looking for ways to expand its military operations in Central Asia so that it can secure its bases near Russia and China.

The US has taken advantage of the Indo-Pak rivalry and is trying to prop up Bharat as a counterweight to China. Delhi conducted its first nuclear “deveice” (for peaceful purposes) in 1974, followed by some tests in 1998. There is controversy whether the tests were actually successful. Islamabad conducted its six nuclear tests in 1998. Both Bharat and Pakistan have refused to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the FMCT and other international treaties that restrict the development or testing of nuclear weapons.

Pakistan has hidden its bombs in deep enclaves, away from prying US satellites. Many of the underground facilities are not known to America. What Ahmedinejad has said is a matter of common knowledge in Pakistan.
